Modeling the ICT Teachers’ Perspective Towards Teaching of Computer Programming at Secondary School Level Using Interactive Qualitative Analysis (IQA)

Computer programming is viewed and experienced as a subject cognitively challenging to students well teachers. The aim of this study was determine the Information Communication Technology (ICT) teachers’ perspective towards teaching computer in order comprehend how ICT teachers perceive factors that influence their work. Forty-seven participated qualitative study. research method used an analytical framework known Interactive Qualitative Analysis model perspective. modelled terms affinities (factors) such curriculum, resources, time, language, evaluation, students’ performance, skills, pedagogical knowledge, student professional development programs. Further, interaction among these also modelled. Programming curriculum found be most influential affinity which should revised decrease cognitive load on students. Teacher’s knowledge influenced(or influential???) can improved by programs evaluation policy Increase computer: ratio contributing factor achievement.
